4-point vs 6-point passing touchdowns: what actually changes
Changing passing touchdowns from four points to six is one of the cleanest examples of why a fantasy ranking should respond to league rules instead of staying fixed.
The football projection stays the same
GIQ does not give a quarterback more real touchdowns because the league awards six fantasy points instead of four. The same projected passing touchdowns are simply worth more fantasy points. That extra scoring can lift a quarterback relative to RBs, WRs and TEs on the overall board.

The largest rank jumps often occur in the middle and later quarterback tiers because a 40–60 point scoring swing can move a player through a dense part of the overall board. At the very top, elite rushing quarterbacks can remain strong in both systems because part of their advantage comes from rushing rather than passing touchdowns alone.
Why this matters for draft strategy
Six-point passing touchdowns can make high-volume passers more competitive with rushing quarterbacks, but it does not erase rushing value. The correct comparison is total fantasy output plus positional opportunity cost. A six-point setting can raise a quarterback's absolute score while still leaving a strong RB or WR ahead if the replacement alternatives at those positions are much weaker.

The 4PT/6PT selection is stored as part of the league setup so the ranking, player profile and decision tools all reference the same board. That avoids one of the easiest mistakes in fantasy tools: showing a 6PT projection while labeling the league as 4PT, or vice versa.
