How GIQ publishes rankings and research.
GIQ is an independent fantasy-football project. This page explains authorship, model use, AI-assisted development, corrections, sourcing and the separation between GIQ rankings and outside market rankings.
Authorship and responsibility
Pages labeled “GIQFootball Editorial” are produced for GridironIQ and are based on GIQ's own ranking data, projection outputs and product methodology. GIQFootball is responsible for the final published page and for correcting errors found after release.
How automation and AI are used
GIQ uses software automation and AI-assisted development workflows for coding, debugging, data QA, drafting and analysis. Automation is a tool, not the editorial purpose of the site. Public rankings come from the GIQ model and release pipeline. Research pages are built to explain those model outputs with specific data, comparisons and methodology rather than to mass-produce generic fantasy articles.
Market independence
ADP, expert consensus and market rankings do not directly score players in True GIQ. They can be used as a post-model comparison to identify disagreements worth investigating. A disagreement can remain if the football and model evidence supports it.
Corrections
When a data, labeling or code issue is found, GIQ updates the affected page or release. Material ranking changes are tied to a new certified dataset rather than silently hand-editing one player on one public board.
Sources and original value
GIQ research pages primarily analyze first-party GIQ ranking and projection data. When outside reporting or research is used in future editorial work, the goal is to cite the source and add original analysis rather than copy or lightly rewrite another publisher.
What a ranking means
A GIQ ranking is an estimate of fantasy value under the stated settings. It is not a guarantee of real-world performance and should not be interpreted as financial, gambling or betting advice.
Release and update discipline
GIQ does not treat every news item as permission to hand-edit a public ranking. Player news is evaluated against the underlying projection, role and availability inputs. When a model change is required, the same rule is applied across the relevant player universe and the release is checked for downstream consistency before publication. That process is intended to make the public board reproducible rather than dependent on undocumented one-off adjustments.
Human responsibility for publication
AI-assisted tools can accelerate research, coding and quality assurance, but the project remains responsible for what is published. Automated output is checked against the site data, product requirements and release tests before it becomes part of GIQ. If an automated workflow produces an unsupported claim, broken page or inconsistent ranking, that is treated as a GIQ error to correct rather than as a reason to shift responsibility to the tool.
