What changes in a 14-team fantasy football league
A deeper league does more than add two managers. It changes what “replacement level” looks like after the obvious starters are gone.
The clearest 12-to-14-team movers
The table below compares the same 2026 Redraft, PPR, 6-point passing-TD model in 12-team and 14-team settings. The projection does not change. Only the league-size value translation does.

Tight ends are prominent among the risers because a deeper league changes the value of holding an advantage at a thinner position. That does not mean every tight end should be drafted earlier. The value appears when the player's projection already separates him from the replacement pool.

Several quarterbacks slide in the overall ordering. In a 1QB format, adding two teams does not automatically make every quarterback more valuable than scarce RB/WR/TE alternatives. The exact movement depends on how many startable options remain at each position.
What this means for a draft
A 14-team manager should care more about the cost of missing a positional tier. The useful question is not simply “who has the higher projection?” but “what does the board look like if I wait 14 or 28 picks?” That is why GIQ's Draft Room and league-size boards are tied to the same setup.
Do not overlearn the example
This is not a universal rule that TEs rise and QBs fall in every deep league. It is the result of this specific 2026 player pool and GIQ's current replacement-level structure. As projections and roles change, the scarcity map can change too.
